Mental Health & Wellness Week

At KIHS, we believe emotional wellbeing is just as important as academic achievement. That’s why Mental Health & Wellness Week was devoted to nurturing the hearts and minds of our students. Through peaceful mindfulness activities, open discussion circles, and wellness workshops, students explored how to care for themselves and each other.

  • Mindfulness Breaks – Students enjoyed breathing exercises, journaling corners, and relaxation zones.
  • Student Circles – Safe spaces were created for students to speak openly about stress, emotions, and coping tools.
  • Art Therapy – Students expressed themselves through painting, drawing, and creative writing.
  • Move with Joy – Yoga, stretching, and dance sessions helped release energy in a positive way.
  • Acts of Kindness Wall – Each student wrote an encouraging message to contribute to a wall of positivity.

This week reminded us all that wellness is a journey, and every voice matters. From students to staff, everyone walked away feeling lighter, stronger, and more connected.

“It felt good to pause, reflect, and know we’re supported.”
